Director of Youth Ministries

Juwan Williams is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He was raised in the northwest section of the city. Educated in the Cheltenham School District, he participated in many extracurricular activities, such as sports, arts and student government. Upon his graduation from Cheltenham High School, he chose to further his education and attend Cairn University in Langhorne, PA. He majors in Biblical Studies and minors in History; in hopes of one day becoming a Pastor/Church Historian. While a student at Cairn, Juwan was instrumental in forming the Student Cultural Association with his fellow classmates and also served as its President during the 2015-2016 school year. While in school Juwan became the Youth Minister of the Salem Baptist Church of Jenkintown-now Abington. He was employed with the YMCA working in the camp, teen and aftercare departments. In addition to his studies and position at the church he served as a volunteer firefighter with the Cheltenham Township Fire Department and interned in the Chaplain’s Office at the University of Pennsylvania.

Juwan comes to Narberth with a range of experience in church ministry, childcare and youth development, plus working briefly in government affairs. He can be found helping at his family’s business as an associate mortician/chaplain or going for hikes, reading, writing and most importantly improving his golf swing.

“God has plans for this church and her youth…I hope that I can be the vessel chosen by God to continuously pour out his Spirit.” Amen.
